The protocol at a glance
No human dose exists. In the one mouse study I could read in full, the dose was 25 mg/kg injected twice a day for 6 weeks.
| Item | What is known |
|---|---|
| Human dose | Not established |
| Studied in | Mice (injection into the belly cavity, IP) |
| Mouse dose | 25 mg/kg, twice a day, 6 weeks (heart failure model) |
| Oral use | No oral dosing described |
From the Circulation 2024 paper (PubMed 37961903). The only drug-level data for 915 was one 20 mg/kg injection. Do not convert mouse doses into human doses.
Community posts suggest oral doses of 10 to 20 mg. This is community talk with no trial behind it.
What people say they do, collected from community discussions. Not tested in a trial; shown so you can compare it with the evidence above.
Mixing
No mixing table here: this one is used as a capsule, nasal spray or skin product, or has no human amount to calculate from. The general mixing calculator works for any vial.
What the trials found
No human results exist. In a mouse model of heart failure:
Circulation 2024 (PubMed 37961903): treated mice had better heart pumping, less scarring and survived longer. Mouse results only.
Side effects
- No human safety data exists.
- Reviews say no clear toxicity in mice, but no long-term safety work was described.
How it works
ERR receptors
It switches on ERR alpha, beta and gamma receptors, which raise fat use in the heart and muscle in mice.
