Community reports

We did not capture a community dose. It is described as a cosmetic skin and hair ingredient.

What people say they do, collected from community discussions. Not tested in a trial; shown so you can compare it with the evidence above.

Mixing

No mixing table here: this one is used as a capsule, nasal spray or skin product, or has no human amount to calculate from. The general mixing calculator works for any vial.

1lab study: hair follicles grew longer and hair-papilla cells multiplied

Pyo HK et al. Arch Pharm Res 2007 (PMID 17703734), human hair follicles ex vivo and cultured dermal papilla cells.

Side effects

  • There is no human safety data for AHK-Cu on its own.

How it works

Hair-papilla cell support (lab data)

In dishes, AHK-Cu boosted the growth of hair-papilla cells and reduced signs of cell death in them.
